By accessing and using the KanaCarve School Gear website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all users of our website, including customers, B2B clients, schools, and PTAs.

Product Information and Availability

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, and pricing. However, we reserve the right to correct errors and update information without prior notice.

Product availability is subject to change, and we cannot guarantee that all items will be in stock at the time of your order. Custom engraving options may vary based on product specifications.

Ordering and Payment

Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion. Payment must be received before order processing begins.

For B2B customers, special payment terms may apply as outlined in separate agreements. Bulk orders require advance payment or approved credit terms.

Custom Engraving Services

Custom laser engraving is provided based on text you supply in kanji, kana, or romaji. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the text and characters provided.

We reserve the right to refuse engraving requests that contain inappropriate content, copyrighted material, or text that may be offensive or harmful.

Custom engraved items are final sale and cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part.

Shipping and Delivery

We ship from our Yokohama workshop to addresses within Japan. Shipping times are estimates and may vary based on location, weather, and other factors beyond our control.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by the shipping carrier.

Returns and Exchanges

Non-customized items may be returned within 30 days of delivery in original condition with original packaging. Custom engraved items are final sale unless there is a manufacturing defect.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days after we receive the returned item.

Product Warranties

Our products are warranted against manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage from accidents.

Warranty claims must be submitted with proof of purchase and photos of the defect. We will repair or replace defective products at our discretion.

Our optional repair service extends product life beyond the warranty period for a fee.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of KanaCarve School Gear and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

User Conduct

B2B Terms and Conditions

Schools, PTAs, and other institutional customers may be subject to additional terms and conditions as outlined in separate B2B agreements.

Bulk pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules for institutional orders are subject to separate negotiation and agreement.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim related to our products or services is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by Japanese law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KanaCarve School Gear from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.

This includes claims related to custom engraving content you provide or any misuse of our products.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use our services will cease immediately, but these terms will continue to apply to any outstanding obligations.
